ADVIS and PAIS Webinar: Navigating the COVID-19 Independent School Financial Crisis
Capping off a week of webinars supporting the independent school community during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ari Betof and Kelsey Vrooman led a session for more than 100 heads of school and chief financial officers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware on Friday, April 3, 2020.
The webinar was hosted by the Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools (ADVIS) and was made available to all Pennsylvania Association of Independent School (PAIS) members.
Dr. Betof, president of Organizational Sustainability Consulting, and Ms. Vrooman, chief executive officer of Actionable Institutional Research and Data, hosted “Navigating the COVID-19 Independent School Financial Crisis” for more than 400 leaders over the course of the week. Previous sessions included members of the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and New Jersey Association of Independent Schools (NJAIS).
Upcoming webinars are scheduled for heads of school and chief financial officers in New York and Colorado with additional sessions being planned in other regions as well as for board members of independent schools. Sessions are focused on tangible steps that leaders and trustees can take on their own or in collaboration with an expert consultant to help independent schools survive and thrive in the face of unprecedented challenges to their operating model
